wigwam
Pole-framed shelter
A wigwam is a domed dwelling traditionally built by certain Native American peoples, typically constructed with a frame of poles covered with bark, hides, or mats.
The word is often confused with teepee, but wigwams are rounded structures while teepees are conical tents.
The trail led to a reconstructed wigwam at the historical site.
