vitiligo
Patchy pale skin
Vitiligo is a skin condition in which patches of skin lose their pigment, appearing white or lighter than surrounding areas.
The condition results from destruction of melanocytes—the cells that produce skin color.
It can appear anywhere on the body and affects people of all skin tones, though it's most visible on darker skin.
Her vitiligo spread gradually across her hands and face.
