silkscreening
Stencil-based ink transfer
Silkscreening is a printing technique where ink is pushed through a mesh screen onto a surface below.
Areas of the screen are blocked off to create a stencil, so ink only passes through in the desired pattern.
The method works on fabric, paper, glass, and other materials: The band's t-shirts were silkscreened by hand.
Also called screen printing.
