signed print
Artist-endorsed reproduction copy
A signed print is a reproduction of an artwork—typically a photograph, lithograph, or screen print—bearing the artist's handwritten signature, usually in pencil at the bottom margin.
The signature authenticates the work and typically increases its value over unsigned copies.
Signed prints are often numbered to indicate their place in a limited edition: a signed print, 45/200.
