Crossed-leg swimming motion
A scissor kick is a swimming or exercise movement where the legs open and close like scissors—one leg moving forward while the other moves back, then snapping together.
In swimming, it powers the sidestroke.
In soccer, a scissor kick (or bicycle kick) is an acrobatic overhead kick where a player's legs scissor in midair: He scored with a spectacular scissor kick.
