armada
Large naval fleet
An armada is a large fleet of warships, or by extension any impressive assembly of vehicles or vessels: an armada of fishing boats, an armada of trucks heading north.
The word carries connotations of power and coordinated force, often with a hint of menace or overwhelming scale. (Capitalized Armada typically refers to the Spanish Armada.)
