power switch
Device activation lever
A power switch turns an electrical device on or off.
It controls the flow of electricity to the main circuit, typically toggling between two states.
Most electronics have a power switch somewhere on the device: The power switch is on the back of the monitor.
Distinguished from buttons that activate standby mode rather than cutting power completely.
