side button
Lateral device toggle
A side button is a control located on the edge of a device rather than its face, typically on smartphones, watches, or game controllers.
On an Apple Watch, the side button is the oblong button below the digital crown, used to access the dock, make payments, or call emergency services.
On iPhones, it locks the screen and activates Siri: Hold the side button to power off.
