Bernina
Swiss mountain range
Bernina refers to a peak in the Swiss Alps, the highest in the Eastern Alps at over 4,000 meters.
The name extends to the surrounding mountain range (the Bernina Range) and the Bernina Pass connecting Switzerland and Italy.
Bernina is also a Swiss manufacturer of sewing machines, established in 1893 near the mountain that gave it its name.
