A playthrough is a complete session of playing a video game from start to finish, or a recording of such a session.
Watching someone else's playthrough—whether for entertainment, guidance, or to experience a game without buying it—has become a major genre of online video: I watched a playthrough before deciding to buy it.
The word also applies to board games or tabletop RPGs.
