plaster

Wet wall paste

Plaster is a paste that hardens when dry, used to coat walls and ceilings or to make casts and molds.

A plaster cast immobilizes broken bones while they heal.

To plaster a surface is to apply plaster to it, or more loosely, to cover thickly: The wall was plastered with posters.

To get plastered is to get very drunk.
