multiplane
Stacked transparency camera
Multiplane describes something with multiple planes or levels.
In animation, a multiplane camera shoots through several layers of artwork at different distances, creating depth and parallax effects: Disney's multiplane camera revolutionized animated films.
In aviation, a multiplane is an aircraft with more than one wing surface, as opposed to a monoplane.
