recessional

Clergy's departure music

A recessional is a hymn or piece of music played as clergy and choir withdraw at the end of a religious service, or more broadly, any music accompanying a formal departure—as when newlyweds exit a ceremony.

As an adjective, recessional describes anything relating to such a withdrawal or to an economic recession.
