mouldings
Ornamental wall strips
Mouldings is the British spelling of moldings—decorative strips of wood, plaster, or other material used to finish architectural surfaces.
Crown mouldings run along ceiling edges; base mouldings cover where walls meet floors.
The term also applies to any shaped or cast objects: plastic mouldings for car interiors.
