liberty caps

Psychoactive pointed toadstools

Liberty caps are small mushrooms containing psilocybin, a psychedelic compound.

Named for their resemblance to the pointed caps worn as symbols of freedom during the French and American revolutions, they grow wild in temperate grasslands and are among the most potent naturally occurring hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Possession is illegal in most jurisdictions.
