Microdosing is taking very small amounts of a substance—typically a psychedelic drug like LSD or psilocybin—too small to produce obvious effects but supposedly enough to enhance mood, creativity, or focus.
The practice gained popularity in Silicon Valley tech culture: She's been microdosing mushrooms to help with her depression.
The term extends to other contexts where tiny doses are used therapeutically.
