labour law
Employment legal framework
Labour law is the body of legal rules governing employment relationships—the rights and obligations between workers, employers, and unions.
It covers wages, working conditions, hiring and firing, collective bargaining, and workplace safety.
The new labour law requires overtime pay after forty hours.
Also called employment law.
The spelling labor law is standard in American English.
