issues
Topics requiring attention
Issues are matters requiring attention or resolution: We need to address several issues before launch.
The word often softens harder terms—issues can mean problems without sounding as negative: The software has some issues.
Personal issues are emotional or psychological difficulties: He has anger issues.
To take issue with something is to disagree with it.
Issues also means offspring, now archaic except in legal contexts, and the copies of a periodical from a particular date: the March issue.
