holography
3D light recording
Holography is the technique of creating three-dimensional images using laser light to record and reconstruct the light patterns reflected from an object.
Unlike ordinary photographs, which capture only a flat representation, holograms preserve depth information, allowing the image to appear differently when viewed from various angles.
The resulting image is called a hologram.
Holography has applications in art, security features on credit cards and currency, and data storage.
