pinhole camera
Lensless image maker
A pinhole camera is a simple imaging device that uses a tiny hole instead of a lens to project an inverted image onto a surface inside a light-tight box.
The smaller the hole, the sharper the image.
Pinhole cameras demonstrate basic optical principles and can be made from household materials: We built pinhole cameras from shoeboxes to view the eclipse.
