holographic card
Rainbow-shifting trading item
A holographic card is a trading card, collectible card, or identification card featuring a hologram—a shimmery, three-dimensional image that shifts when viewed from different angles.
In trading card games and sports cards, holographic cards (often called holos or foils) are typically rarer and more valuable than standard cards: I pulled a holographic Charizard from the pack.
On credit cards and IDs, holograms serve as security features to prevent counterfeiting.
