strange

Hard to explain

Strange describes what deviates from the familiar, expected, or ordinary.

A strange noise is unfamiliar; a strange coincidence seems improbable; a strange person behaves oddly.

That's strange—I could have sworn I left my keys here.

Strange can also mean unfamiliar without implying weirdness: I woke up in a strange bed.

To feel strange is to feel unwell or uneasy.
