euthanasia
Assisted peaceful ending
Euthanasia is the practice of painlessly bringing about the death of people or animals who are so ill or injured that they have no possibility of a useful or enjoyable life.
Euthanasia is widely practiced with domestic animals but is illegal in relation to humans.
Euthanasia law is a misnomer for a law permitting physician assisted suicide for people who are terminally ill.
