baptistry
Church baptism room
A baptistry is the part of a church set aside for baptisms, typically containing a font or pool.
In some traditions, particularly Baptist churches, the baptistry is a tank large enough for full immersion.
Older churches may have a separate baptistry building adjacent to the main structure.
Also spelled baptistery.
