angiogram
Blood vessel scan
An angiogram is an X-ray image of blood vessels, produced by injecting a contrast dye that makes the vessels visible.
The procedure helps diagnose blockages, aneurysms, and other vascular abnormalities: The angiogram revealed a narrowing in the coronary artery.
Angiograms are commonly performed on the heart, brain, and limbs.
