air hockey
Tabletop puck game
Air hockey is a tabletop arcade game where two players use handheld paddles to strike a plastic puck across a smooth, air-cushioned surface into the opponent's goal.
Jets of air reduce friction, allowing the puck to glide rapidly.
The game is a staple of arcades and game rooms: We played air hockey until closing time.
