blower

Leaf-clearing machine

A blower is a device that moves air—a fan, a leaf blower, a hair dryer.

In British slang, the blower is the telephone: Get him on the blower.

In informal American usage, a blower can be someone who performs oral sex, or a braggart who blows his own horn.

Someone who blows the whistle on wrongdoing is also a blower, though whistleblower is more common.
