foosball
Rod-spinning bar game
Foosball is a tabletop game simulating soccer, played by manipulating rows of miniature players mounted on rotating rods to strike a ball toward the opponent's goal.
The game is a fixture in bars, game rooms, and break rooms: We played foosball in the basement all afternoon.
Also called table football or table soccer.
