Yugoslav
Tito's countrymen, once
Yugoslav refers to the people, culture, or nations of the former Yugoslavia, a federation of South Slavic states that existed in southeastern Europe from 1918 to 1992.
The term encompasses Serbs, Croats, Slovenes, Bosniaks, Montenegrins, and Macedonians: My grandmother was Yugoslav, though now we say she was Croatian.
Since Yugoslavia's dissolution, the term is primarily historical.
