nationalist
Sovereignty above all
A nationalist is someone who strongly supports their nation's interests, culture, or independence—often prioritizing these above international cooperation or other nations' concerns.
The term ranges from neutral (Scottish nationalists seeking independence) to pejorative, suggesting jingoism or ethnic chauvinism: White nationalists marched through the city.
As an adjective, nationalist describes such views or movements: nationalist rhetoric, nationalist parties.
