Bosnia
Sarajevo is there
Bosnia is the larger, northern region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country in southeastern Europe on the Balkan Peninsula.
The name often stands in for the whole country in casual speech: the war in Bosnia, refugees from Bosnia.
The region was part of Yugoslavia until 1992, when its declaration of independence triggered a brutal ethnic conflict.
