Ursa Major

Big Dipper's constellation

Ursa Major is a constellation in the northern sky, one of the largest and most recognizable.

Its name is Latin for "great bear." Seven of its brightest stars form the Big Dipper (or the Plough in British usage), a pattern used for navigation since ancient times.

Polaris can be found by following the two stars at the end of Ursa Major's bowl.
