Jupiter

Largest orbiting sphere

Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, fifth from the sun—a gas giant with distinctive bands and the Great Red Spot, a centuries-old storm.

In Roman mythology, Jupiter was king of the gods, equivalent to Greek Zeus.

The name sometimes appears as an exclamation: By Jupiter!

The adjective is Jovian.
