supergiant
Massive evolved star
A supergiant is a star of enormous size and luminosity, far larger than our sun—among the biggest objects in the universe.
Red supergiants like Betelgeuse are cooler and appear reddish; blue supergiants burn hotter.
The term also describes anything exceptionally large in its category: a supergiant retailer, a supergiant of the tech industry.
