Little Bear

Polaris's home constellation

Little Bear is a constellation in the northern sky, also known by its Latin name Ursa Minor.

It contains Polaris, the North Star, which sits at the tip of its tail and has guided navigators for centuries.

The constellation's seven main stars form a shape resembling a smaller version of the Big Dipper, which is why it's sometimes called the Little Dipper.

Sailors used Little Bear to find true north.
