Trojan
Wooden horse victim
Trojan refers to the ancient city of Troy or its people, most famous from Homer's account of the Trojan War.
The Trojan horse was a wooden structure concealing Greek soldiers, giving us the metaphor for deception.
In American usage, Trojan often refers to the University of Southern California's athletic teams: The Trojans play Saturday.
