Trojan virus

Disguised computer threat

A Trojan virus—more accurately called a Trojan horse or just Trojan—is malicious software disguised as legitimate or harmless.

Like the wooden horse of Greek myth, it tricks users into installing it, then delivers its payload: stealing data, creating backdoors, or damaging systems.

Unlike true viruses, Trojans don't self-replicate; they rely on deception to spread.

Don't download that—it's probably a Trojan.
