Snowpiercer
Icy train thriller
Snowpiercer is a 2013 science fiction film directed by Bong Joon-ho, set on a perpetually moving train carrying the last survivors of a frozen apocalypse.
The train's rigid class hierarchy—with the wealthy in front cars and the poor in back—makes Snowpiercer a pointed allegory for social stratification: The whole movie is basically a Snowpiercer situation.
A television series followed in 2020.
