Waterworld

Ocean covers everything

Waterworld is a 1995 science fiction film set on a future Earth where polar ice has melted and covered all land, forcing humanity to live on floating settlements.

The film became notorious for its massive budget overruns and mixed reception, though it has since gained cult status.

By extension, waterworld describes any flooded or water-dominated environment: Climate scientists warn we're creating our own waterworld.
