Wakanda
Hidden African nation
Wakanda is a fictional African nation in Marvel Comics, depicted as technologically advanced while hidden from the outside world.
Home to the superhero Black Panther, Wakanda's wealth comes from vibranium, a fictional metal.
After the 2018 film *Black Panther*, Wakanda became a cultural touchstone for Afrofuturism and Black pride: Wakanda forever!
