Rich versus poor
Class warfare is conflict between economic classes, especially between the wealthy and working class over resources, power, and policy.
The term often appears in political rhetoric, where accusing opponents of class warfare suggests they're stoking resentment against the rich.
Those who use it approvingly see it as resistance to economic inequality; those who use it critically see it as divisive populism.
