Ragnarok

Twilight of gods

Ragnarok is the apocalyptic final battle in Norse mythology, where gods and giants clash in mutual destruction, ending the current world so a new one can emerge.

The word comes from Old Norse meaning "fate of the gods" or "twilight of the gods." In contemporary use, Ragnarok appears frequently in fantasy games, films, and literature as shorthand for an epic, world-ending conflict.

The heroes prepared for their own Ragnarok against the dark forces.
