golden age
Time of flourishing
A golden age is a period of exceptional achievement, prosperity, or happiness—real or imagined.
The phrase often describes historical peaks in arts, science, or culture: the golden age of Hollywood, the golden age of radio.
It can also refer nostalgically to an idealized past: My grandfather always talks about the golden age of baseball.
In mythology, the golden age was humanity's earliest era, when people lived in peace and abundance before decline set in.
