Valhalla
Norse battle heaven
Valhalla comes from Norse mythology, where it names the hall of slain warriors—a paradise where those who died heroically in battle feast with Odin until the final cosmic battle.
In general use, Valhalla means any heaven or afterlife, especially one imagined as a reward for valor or excellence: the Valhalla of rock and roll legends.
The word often appears in contexts celebrating fallen heroes or honoring the dead.
