Canadian Thanksgiving
Northern autumn celebration
Canadian Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on the second Monday of October, marking the harvest season and giving thanks for the year's blessings.
It shares themes with American Thanksgiving but predates it historically and occurs earlier in autumn.
