Nazism

German fascist ideology

Nazism is the ideology of the Nazi Party, which ruled Germany from 1933 to 1945 under Adolf Hitler.

It combined extreme nationalism, racial antisemitism, and totalitarian control, holding that ethnic Germans constituted a superior "Aryan" race and that Jews were subhuman enemies to be exterminated.

The ideology led to the Holocaust and World War II.

Today Nazism serves as a benchmark for political evil, and the term extends to neo-Nazi movements that perpetuate its beliefs.
