Minsk

Capital of Belarus

Minsk is the capital and largest city of Belarus, located in the center of the country.

A major industrial and cultural hub in Eastern Europe, it was largely rebuilt after near-total destruction in World War II, giving it a characteristic Soviet-era architectural landscape: The wide boulevards of Minsk date from postwar reconstruction.
