G-CSF
White cell stimulator
G-CSF stands for granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, a protein that stimulates bone marrow to produce white blood cells called neutrophils.
It's used medically to boost immune function in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, which often depletes white blood cell counts: The oncologist prescribed G-CSF injections to prevent infection during treatment.
