Bruges

Flemish medieval port

Bruges is a medieval city in northwestern Belgium, known for its canals, cobblestone streets, and well-preserved Gothic architecture.

Once a major trading center in the Hanseatic League, it's now a tourist destination often called "the Venice of the North." We spent a weekend wandering through Bruges.
