Limburg
Dutch border area
Limburg is a historical region in northwestern Europe, now divided between Belgium, the Netherlands, and a small part of Germany.
Belgian Limburg and Dutch Limburg are provinces in their respective countries.
The region gives its name to Limburger cheese, known for its pungent smell.
We drove through Limburg on our way to Maastricht.
